How to customize captions for different platforms

Klaas lets you write one main caption and then tailor it for each platform you publish to — so every audience gets a version that fits where they are.

Why customize per platform

Every platform has its own rhythm: character limits, hashtag norms, and what your audience there responds to. Tailoring each caption lets you match all of that while keeping a single, simple posting workflow.

Tailor a caption for each platform

  1. Open the composer at Create and write your main caption.
  2. Below the main caption, find the per-platform caption tools for your connected accounts.
  3. Select the platform you want to adjust.
  4. Edit the caption for that platform — tighten it for character limits, swap hashtags, or shift the tone.
  5. Repeat for any other platform you want to fine-tune.

Anything you leave untouched simply uses your main caption, so you only customize where it matters.
