Troubleshooting Facebook page connection issues
If your Facebook Page won't connect or won't show up in Klaas, the cause is almost always the same two things: Pages selected as a group instead of individually, or permissions that weren't fully granted. One careful reconnect fixes nearly all of it.
Before you start
Klaas publishes to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles. You'll need admin access to at least one Page.
The fix: select Pages individually and approve every permission
- Start the Facebook connection from Connections.
- On the Facebook permissions screen, choose Edit previous settings.
- Select each Page you want one by one — don't rely on the "all pages" shortcut, which often leaves Pages connected on Facebook's side but missing in Klaas.
- Make sure the business that owns the Page is selected.
- Approve every permission Facebook requests.
This single flow resolves the common cases: Pages that don't appear after connecting, an empty Page list, a reconnect button that seems to do nothing, and the No Facebook Pages found. Please ensure you have admin access to at least one Facebook Page. error.
Permission errors when posting
If publishing fails with a "Failed to post to Facebook" error naming missing permissions (such as pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_metadata, pages_read_user_content, pages_manage_ads, pages_show_list, or pages_messaging), Klaas doesn't have the access it needs. Reconnect from Connections and approve every permission Facebook requests.
Still stuck
If the reconnect above doesn't take, clear the old authorization and start fresh:
- Open your Facebook account's Business Integrations settings.
- Remove Klaas from the list of authorized apps.
- Return to Connections and connect the Page again — selecting Pages individually, choosing the owning business, and approving all permissions.
